Brahms: The Boy II is a supernatural horror film directed by William Brent Bell and serves as the sequel to the 2016 movie The Boy. The film stars Katie Holmes, Owain Yeoman, and Christopher Convery in key roles.
The story follows Liza (Katie Holmes), a mother who moves to a quiet countryside estate with her husband and young son Jude after they experience a traumatic home invasion. They hope that living in a peaceful environment will help Jude recover, as he has stopped speaking due to fear and anxiety.
However, their new home is located near the old Heelshire Mansion — the same place where the doll Brahms once existed.
One day, Jude discovers a strange porcelain doll buried in the forest. He takes it home and begins treating it as his friend. The doll’s presence starts influencing Jude’s behavior. He becomes increasingly distant, secretive, and sometimes frightening.
As time goes on, disturbing events begin to happen in the house. Liza realizes that the doll is not just a toy — it is connected to a dark and dangerous history. The more Jude bonds with Brahms, the more the family is drawn into terror.
