The film’s Pinball Masala has an ensemble cast that includes Sharman Joshi as a struggling writer and Mahie Gill in her most glamorous role yet, playing a yesteryear actress. Also featured are Anupam Kher, Parambrata Chatterjee, Chunky Pandey and Jackie Shroff among others. This group of lively youngsters – one is a British colonial, another an old money, musician, still others- takes its turn for the underdogs in a string of hilarious jokes and acid commentary on urbanization.

Despite getting some negative reviews as it wasn't as sharp as the original, fans like that here. They like the concept is original, the actors make a fine ensemble, and it takes on spooky comedy in a good-humored way.
