Boot Hill
(also known as La collina degli stivali)
is a 1969 Italian Spaghetti Western film starring the iconic duo Terence Hill and Bud Spencer, directed by Giuseppe Colizzi. It is the third and final installment in the trilogy that began with God Forgives... I Don’t! (1967) and Ace High (1968).

The film follows Cat Stevens (Terence Hill), a wandering gunslinger who is injured and pursued by ruthless bounty hunters. He finds help from Hutch Bessy (Bud Spencer), a tough and loyal friend. Together, they uncover a corrupt scheme led by a greedy mining baron who exploits innocent townsfolk to seize control of their land.

To fight back, Cat and Hutch join forces with a group of traveling circus performers who use their unique skills and daring tricks to battle the oppressors. The movie mixes classic Western elements with unusual and entertaining touches — including colorful circus sequences, brawls, and sharp humor typical of Hill and Spencer’s style.

Filled with action, camaraderie, and lighthearted moments, Boot Hill stands out for its blend of Western grit and comic charm. It showcases the early chemistry between Terence Hill and Bud Spencer, who would go on to become one of cinema’s most beloved action-comedy duos.
